House of Tulips B&B opened in January 2020 by the Chiang Family and is located in a historic building in Hillegom. The Chiang family acquired the building many years ago to start their own restaurant. You can still visit the restaurant that is specialized in sushi and Japanese cuisine and is situated below the B&B. It was a dream come true to open a B&B and host guests from all over the world. The B&B is inspired by the famous Dutch tulips that grow in the area of Hillegom.

About Hillegom

Hillegom lays in the “Bollenstreek”, which translates to ‘Flower bulb Region”. Every year in April the famous Flower Corso (Bloemencorso) parades through Hillegom, showcasing the most beautiful flowers our country has to offer. Hillegom has many flower and tulip fields and when you arrive in the city in Spring, you’ll see many colorful flower fields. Close to Hillegom you find famous Dutch cities as Leiden, Haarlem and Amsterdam. Also you can easily get to Zandvoort beach from Hillegom with a direct train connection.
